Before going to an interview, applicants should always plan
their answers. They should begin by thinking about their past jobs
and looking for relevant experience. For example, someone who
is applying for a position as a clerk-typist should look for clerical
experience in past jobs. Then in the interview the applicant should
            talk about the clerical experience.
In interviews, applicants should not just tell the interviewer
they have a lot of experience. They should give the name of the
job, describe the duties, and tell the employer how long they have
            been in the job.
